How much does it cost to build with MyHomeBuild?
The cost to build with MyHomeBuild varies depending on several factors, including the size of the home, the level of customisation (detail), materials, and any additional features you choose. Since MyHomeBuild specialises in custom home design, pricing is tailored to each project to reflect your specific needs and preferences. Do you do custom designs?
Yes, MyHomeBuild specialises in crafting bespoke home designs to match your unique needs and lifestyle. Whether you’re looking for single-storey investment homes, larger single-storey family residences, or two-storey homes for narrow blocks and subdivisions, we’ve got you covered. What are your build times?
Typically our home build times are approximately 9 months for single-storey homes and around 12 months for two-storey homes. These timelines can vary based on the complexity of the design and other factors. However, we work closely with you to provide a more precise estimate tailored to your specific project.

Do you offer a fixed price contract?
Yes, at MyHomeBuild, we offer fixed price contracts for all our custom homes. This ensures you have complete peace of mind, knowing the final cost of your build upfront with no hidden surprises. Our transparent pricing approach means you can confidently plan your dream home within your budget.
What standard inclusions do you offer?
Our specification includes stone benchtops, full-height tiling, 2.4H doors, LED downlights, a selection of premium tapware finishes (chrome, matte black, or brushed nickel) and Smeg or Bosch appliances. Our specification eliminates the need for clients to make upgrades during the selection process to get their home to a standard we would expect if we were building for ourselves.
Do you offer selections before the final build contract?
Yes, at MyHomeBuild, we ensure your contract price includes every aspect of your custom home. We believe in transparency, which is why you’ll complete all your selections and secure council approvals before signing the final contract. This guarantees that once the contract is signed, the only step left is to start building your dream home.
Do you build owner designs?
Yes, MyHomeBuild can price and construct your custom design. We also offer assistance with modifying your plans to ensure they meet your needs and preferences. Our team works closely with you throughout the process to bring your vision to life.
Are your site works fixed or should we expect variations?
When you sign a contract with MyHomeBuild the footings and site works are a fixed price as per the engineering specifications. Variations may only occur if unforeseen issues arise, such as encountering rock or groundwater, as specified in your contract.
What is your structural guarantee?
At MyHomeBuild every home we build is engineered, and approved to the National Construction Code (NCC). Therefore, we are happy to extend your structural guarantee to 25 years for your own peace of mind. The structural guarantee will commence from practical completion.
What is covered in the 25-year structural guarantee?
The 25-year structural guarantee is only valid for the first initial client that purchased the home from MyHomeBuild Pty Ltd, and is not transferable.
MyHomeBuild will rectify any structural elements that are failing for the purpose intended, such as, structural timbers, steel in wall, engineered steel beams, roof framing, concrete slab foundation, strip footings, that suffer a structural failure as determined by a structural engineer, category 3 or higher.
Your obligations as the owners are to ensure your home, footings, and foundations are maintained as per the engineers’ recommendations and documentation provided.
Please refer to and comply with the CSIRO information sheet regarding foundation maintenance, and footing performance specified in the homeowner’s guide (as supplied in your handover pack) Failure to adhere to this information sheet will void your 25-year structural guarantee.
What is your maintenance period?
After the practical completion of your new home, you have a 3-month maintenance period where we address any defects or incomplete work as per the contract.
Do you have a dedicated maintenance team?
Yes, we have a full-time maintenance team who are able to take care of your maintenance during the 3 month maintenance period.
Can we source our own products?
Yes, MyHomeBuild offers flexibility in sourcing products. You can supply your own items, provided they meet Australian standards and receive our approval. We’re here to accommodate your preferences while ensuring quality and compliance.
Do you offer a flexible process?
Absolutely! MyHomeBuild provides a flexible process to suit your needs. If you have already obtained council approvals, have your own plans, or prefer to make your own selections, we are happy to work with you to integrate these elements into your project.
Great experience building with MHB from initial design, selections, building and after care, everyone in this company was so helpful and polite to deal with.
The build itself was of great quality with a great end result. Site supervisor was excellent, always a quick reply to any queries and always kept us informed. They worked with us, not against us, even the owner comes out to check the progress and assisted when I couldn’t work something out late at night. Reasonably quick build and on schedule.
